The National Trust - Youth Involvement Team
We run Youth Discovery Working Holidays, including conservation and environmental residential experiences at Trust properties which are often used to count towards D of E and other awards. We also run a course to develop Youth Heriatge Leaders leading to an accredited qualification in team leading in conservation, as well as a Heritage Challenge Programme in partnership with local youth services to engage hard to reach young people through heritage and the environment. There are also work experience opportunities, volunteering, Travel Fellowships and a Youth Forum for young people to get involved in the way The National Trust works and the wider heritage, conservation and sustainability debate.
