Everyone's favourite mum, Melanie Walters (aka Gwen from the hit sitcom Gavin And Stacey) will be revealing her dark side when she stars in this year's Swansea panto.

The Mumbles-based actress will be turned into the Wicked Queen for Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs at the city's Grand Theatre.

She will be taking to the stage alongside Hollyoaks heartthrob Kevin Sacre (who plays Jake Deans) as the Prince, and Peter Hillier — better known as Boogie Pete from CBeebies — as Muddles, while the title role will be played by Welsh I'd Do Anything hopeful, Sarah Lark.

DJ Kevin Johns will also be returning to the seasonal stage when he makes his 13th appearance at the Grand as the panto dame.

Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs starts on Wednesday 15 December and finishes on Sunday 16 January 2011. Tickets are on sale now with discounts for under 16s and £1 off ticket prices before Christmas. Call the box office on 01792 475715 for more information.
