While watching Eclipse I was thinking about how it had a lot to live up to.

Considering that the first two films had such great success, it was going to be hard (if not impossible) to top both of them.

Eclipse was directed by Catherine Hardwicke and starred Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.

As Seattle is viciously ravaged by a string of killings, the Cullens prepare to meet this new threat head on. But as they plan, Victoria is on the loose and a surprise visitor in Bella’s bedroom adds a whole new perspective on the situation.

As if that wasn’t enough, Bella has to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob. What a muddle. But as they prepare they all know one thing... things are going to get messy!

I would recommend seeing the first two films before watching this one. It can get confusing if you do not know who the main characters are.

I thought the plot was great and the fight scenes awesome, but the bit that made me love it was the actors. When I read the books I had an image of all the characters in my head. These actors were really similar to the characters in the book and I commend them for that. It is not often you find almost a whole really good cast for a film.

I think the film is suitable for everyone as it has romance, action and horror all mixed in. A good all-round film. Roll on the fourth one!

I watched Eclipse in Turkey, it was in english with turkish subtitles. If I'm honest, I only really watched the first two films because I wanted to compare them to the book, and I don't like saying this but the films really aren't that good. But when i found out the director from 30 days of night was directing Eclipse, I thought this has got be good. Finally some action, and the acting had improved. The fight scene with the newborns at the end was pure beauty, with all the wolves and what not. I genuinly did enjoy this film (: .
