Can you fill this space?

Apply for a place at Our Space summer camp 2009 and become one of our young equality champions.

Our Space is the Equality and Human Rights Commission's annual summer camp for 14 and 15 year-olds. Its main objective is to give young people the skills, confidence and ideas to create a fairer society for all.

Every year 100 young people from different backgrounds come together for a week of activities and training to help build their leadership skills and confidence.

This year's programme includes outdoor activities, such as orienteering, navigation, first aid training, and canoeing and rafting. We will also run modules to discuss diversity, equality and rights and what it takes to be a leader.

Young Welsh people (14-15 y.o.) are welcomed to take part.

The deadline has been extended to the end of next week.

Young people can apply online at www.equalityhumanrights.com/ourspace or if you woujld like to apply in an alternative way, please contact us: ourspace@equalityhumanrights.com tel. 0845 604 4410
