Swansea Universities' Choral Society have organised a winter concert in aid of Parkinson’s UK, this weekend, on the 11th of December, 19.30-21.30 at St Paul’s Church, De La Beche Road, Sketty.
The choral society have been organizing events of a charitable nature for a number of years, this year opting to donate half of the £4 ticket price, which includes a complimentary beverage and mince pie, to the highly commendable charity Parkinson’s UK. The charity aspires to find a cure and provide immeasurably helpful support to people who suffer from the condition.
Lily Green, treasurer of Swansea Universities' Choral Society said ‘Being able to support the research that Parkinson’s UK carries out through our singing is extremely rewarding and we hope to draw a large audience to our upcoming concert to raise as much money as possible.’
Come enjoy a night of carols, and support both Parkinson’s UK and the choral society, it’s a good cause after all.
