Volunteering, Arts and Culture
'Nubie' Volunteering
Date: Saturday 17th April 2010 (and every saturday)
Venue: Swansea University's museum of Egyptian Antiquities
Location: Swansea
Doors: 10am-4pm
Age: 10-18.
As a volunteer you will be a gallery assistant. You will work in their galleries supervising them, giving guided tours and helping visitors with hands-on activities. You will learn all about Egypt and museums and tell visitors and other volunteers about it. Occasionally Nubie volunteers will also get the chance to actually handle some of the objects in the cases!
